I have the follwing router Linksys wireless WRT54G v.2.2 Router, but I dont have the disk any more, In the past I went on their site and downloaded the software and it worked fine.

I have since brought a new pc and wish to install the router again. When I go to the Linksys site to download the driver software, the file is about 3+mg. I do recall the software file being much larger the last time about 30+meg, not sure what I am doing wrong. I no longer have the old pc to take the software off. Can anyone advise were I can download some drivers for the Linksys wireless WRT54G v.2.2 Router.

No need to `install` a router - just plug it in and access the interface from a browser. If you mean your wireless adapter, yes you do need a driver for that.

but like brundle says I set it up through Windows and have never used the disc that came with the software.
