Linksys WAG54G Wireless 4-Port ADSL Router

I am using the WAG54G to share a broadband connection over several PC's. I was trying to set up restrictions as to when some of the PC's can access the internet however I could only get it to either allow access all of the time or never at all, as when I set a time band it appeared to be ignored. On further investigation I found that on the status page the current time was listed as 'not availabe' - the likely cause of the time settings not working. Does anyone know where the router gets the time from, or how it can be set manually. All I have found is a time zone setting box.

Dunno. But if you do not get an answer here the
Linksys technical help team will assist by email.
Their service in this respect is normally excellent.

I've already had a look on the Linksys website, and I can't find the WAG54G listed anywhere !

Rigga, on looking at this link there is the following warning:

Note: This firmware must only be used on WAG54G units sold in Germany.

This seems to apply to version 1.01.7
I will contact Linksys to get v.1.01.5 as per your first posting - Thanks.

OK Thanks. I have downloaded the file and will update the firmware when I get back to my own PC tonight.

Firmware now upgraded to 1.01.7 and current time problem resolved. I have now been able to set up several internet access policies. Thanks for the assistance.
