To link range extender

Hi, Probably best suited for the network forum,but though my post would receive more views in tech help. Bought the stated extender,but am experiencing issues connecting to my superhub.

First I used the connect buttons on both devices ,it connected ,but no wpa2 security. When I manually set the wpa2 ,no device would connect to the to link.

When the tp link was listed in the available wifis in range ,when I connected ,the login screen for the tp link appeared for manually configuring the extender .

I reset the extender ,and manually configured the settings ,change all passwords ,and the device was know not listed in available wifis .

Tried all the above again,still the same results .

How I would like it configured is, the extender broadcasts its SSID ,which I connect to via its own wpa2 password,then it connects to the router .

Any tips please . Thanks
