Lines running down Colour Laser Prints

  diemen 18:31 06 Aug 07

My QMX Minolta 2200DL has started to leave a slight faint line down the print area. I've checked all consumables and other than the Magenta & Yellow Toners (50%) all others are showing 75% or above. This is not colour specific as I've done test prints of solid CMYK and moved the colours round on the page and the line is still showing in the same place.

Any laser printer experts out there?

Could there be something stuck on the imaging unit, transfer belt etc.

Thanks Technotiger have had a look at the site you suggest, and there may be a resolution there. Will try cleaning the Laser Lens Cover and cleaning as it suggests.

Thanks for the link, will mark as resolved if this works.

Cleaned the Laser Lens Cover, there were particles of toner on there. Printer is now back to how it should be :)).

Superb link by Technotiger, he deserves a Gold Star.
