limiting numerical lengths in C++

I wonder if there are any C++ porgrammers out there?

I'm learning C++ and trying to follow a turorial on it, although I dont understnad how to limit numerical variables to 2 decial places. For example changing 1.11111 to 1.11

Im told you need the iomanip.h header files and use setiosflags(ios::fixed) stream modifier, but this does not mean anything to me.

hope someone can help

many thanks
