Hi, have just installed XP on a friends PC and she ask me to set it up as her with administrator rights and her children as limited accounts. Her son likes to play PC games,(Serious Sam SE),and I discovered that it would not install on his account that I had to install it to the admins account which defeats the object of him having a limited user account.

As I am the only one who uses my PC I have no knowledge of limited accounts, can I give him administrator rights, install the game, then switch the account back and will he be able to play on line in limited account.

I think you can. The main point of the admin account is to control downloads and so on.
