Lexmark Z55 Printer - compatible with Vista?

When I used Windows 98 I used a Lexmark Z55 Printer & was wondering if it can be used with my new PC, running Vista? The software disk that came with the printer is only for Windows 98. Whilst I have a printer linked to Vista & thought the Z55 might be useful in case the current printer breaks down. I've checked Google but cannot find a definite Yes or No!

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Lexmark did not have and still do not have any plans to issue a driver for the Z55.

The driver in the link is supposed to work but i think it only gives you limited use of your printer...

This suggests the offical answer is No but there is a workaround; click here

You will of course notice that the link at the bottom of brundles post is the same as mine...

So unfortunately you do not have TWO options...
