Lexmark X85

I have bought this printer and even when I set it maximum photo quality pictures the quality isn't great (the actual pictures being printed are v high res). Also you can see lines where the printer has printed one line and then the next when you hold the pictures at an angle to the light.

I have the printer on max settings, using quality glossy paper and the printer has only been used a few times.

Has anyone else experienced this ? Any views on the X85 ?

Thanks as always,

Kristen

I have an X85 with the same problem. I think the answer may be a faulty cartridge?

I have found that what you have to do is when you are ready to print, rather than pressing print you have to go through the setup and choose the quality/paper etc etc otherwise it will revery to the default -standard colour printing on normal paper. If you do set up each print job you can get excellent results
