lexmark x1150 printer and USB 2.0

I want to buy the above printer, but am not sure if my PC's USB ports can handle it. The USB on my mobo is 1.1, but on lexmarks webste it states that the connection for this printer is USB 2.0 compatible. Now, will this work with a 1.1 connection, or do i have to invest in a PCI based USB 2 card. Any help is much appreciated.

It'll work okay on USB1.1, Sion, but it wont be as fast as if it was USB2. USB2 is backward compatible, you wont have to buy the USB2 card for your printer to work.

sweet, i thought so, just didn't want to buy a shiny new printer, and not be able to use it! Cheers Maj.
