Have just bought an Sony KDL-40V2000U LCD TV and connected it to my media PC. However, the screen is flickering. Any ideas how to stop this ?(Radeon 9600, 128mb graphics card fitted to dual Xeon PC)

make sure your DirectX is v9v if XP with Service pack 2.
Also check you refresh screen rates.

Have made sure all drivers are updated. The only thing I cannot seem to change is the refresh rate of the LCD tv which is set at 60Hz. I would point out this TV has a specific PC port which I am connected to, so that should not be a problem.

You certainly don't need to change the refresh rate - 60HZ is common to virtually all TFTs - they work quite differently too CRTs and don't require higher refresh rates.
