Layers in Dreamweaver CS3

Afternnoon all

I am struggling with layers at present. I am creating a Template page which consists of the original page and 2 layers added to it, one at the top of the page and the other at the bottom. The top layer displays perfectly on all sizes of screen, but the second layer does not. This is because the top layer is set to begin at point 0, 0 (L - 0px, T - 0px). The problem of course with the second layer is that it has the following 0, 465 (L- 0px, t - 465px). So, if the screen viewing the page has more pixels than my machine is set to, the display is skewed somewhat.

I tried using percentages, but this only seems to work on width.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Many thanks in advance

Colin

As you all probably knew, there is no simple fix for this. Instead I will have to check for the screen resolution and then display the correctly sized page accordingly. Great!!!
