Anyone having problems installing the new vx2 plugin ver2.

I have unzipped it to the plugins folder as on the web instructions but it doesnot show up in the plugins when I open the progamme.

It's a little while back since I installed it but it did so without any comeback.

Perhaps redownloading and installing it again might work the oracle?

I have deleted all lavasoft progammes and reinstall but still have same problem

Worked fine for me.

Make sure the files are in C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal\Plugins and not in C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware SE Personal\Plugins\vx2cleaner.

Edit the path according to your PC.

I had the vx2 folder as above, changed folders as you advised all runs OK.

Thank you

But that's the same thing - the vx2cleaner is in the Plug-ins folder as a sub-folder and is, obviously, exactly as above in mine.

Not sure what you mean. You have the plugins in a folder called vx2cleaner under plugins?

Does that work Ok? Definitely version 2? because when i move my plugins there it disappears.

The plugins go into the plugins folder. When the plugins where originally released in a packaged exe installation they also included a folder with the name of the plugin for the uninstaller. However the new vx2cleaner comes as a zip file and the contents just need dumping into the plugins folder. No need for a vx2cleaner folder....

Yes, that's the way it's listed in Program Files and yes, it does work...:-)

It was installed according to the instructions.

It may be because these plug-ins are run individually from the Add-Ons tab.

..and yes, it's the latest version.

Same here. Not sure why it works from the vx2cleaner folder for you and not for me (or sunny staines)!
