I have a oldish laptop that did have win 98,but now i have win95B, will i be able to still use the USB port to run a modem for BB.

Is there a min for BB,ram or Ghz, etc.

As far as I know, USB support in the final versions of Windows 95 was fairly abysmal - USB really did need 98 to work reliably.

Could you not connect to broadband by ethernet instead, always assuming you can get a PCMCIA network card with drivers for "95" and a modem with an ethernet interface.

W95 is a bit of a swine to configure for USB, but it can be done on later versions click here for instructions on how to do it and where to find the necessary downloads.
