  Taff™ 18:21 02 Jul 06

Reinstall the drivers? (From Tools>ControlPanel>System>Hardware Device Manager Tab.)

  Shutt1e 18:58 02 Jul 06

still doesnt work could it be that there has been a loud sound inpt and it has blow them

  Taff™ 19:42 02 Jul 06

What makes you suggest that? It`s very unlikely.

  Shutt1e 21:53 02 Jul 06

because my m8 shouted into my mike and ive never heard the laptop go that loud and then straight after it went fuzzy i am really annoyed as i am having to send the laptop bak

Not sure that would do it - let`s see what others think.

Yes it sound like the Speakers have been duffed

  woodchip 23:18 02 Jul 06

You only get about 1watt out of Laptop Spekers, So I don't know how they went above

  wee eddie 23:21 02 Jul 06

could overload the speakers. No matter how loud your mate shouted.

It would be interesting to know what you are expecting out of a Laptop's speakers?

  Taff™ 23:28 02 Jul 06

Can you confirm that thespeakers were working OK before your ex-mate had a blast.

What is the sound like if you use headphones or attach external speakers?

  woodchip 23:40 02 Jul 06

AS Taff if you connect external spekers and they play OK then it rules out the sound card and drivers
