Need some advice please....... a friends laptop screen is showing all screen displays in a 'negative' fomat.... ie : as if you were looking at a old film negative. This includes all types of output... web pages, desktop etc
Any ideas why this has happened, is there a solution or just any comments please
Many thanks

Sounds like something up with the graphics (says he stating the obvious).

Do you know the make / model of the laptop or the type of graphics adaptor?

Contrast and brightness,re adjusting these can get it to 'flip' back to normal.

Hi Jack Have tried these and to no avail
Worth a try though Thanks
Think I will try to connect laptop to another monitor and see if thats ok and then that would show if it's a monitor or maybe graphics card problem ....maybe ??

will prove screen/graphics chip possibilities.
Downloading/reinstalling graphics drivers is another possibility
