Laptop Replacement for Desktop

My old computer from 2000 died last week so I bought a laptop as a replacement.

I could leave my old desktop plugged in at the wall, but wonder about my laptop. If I leave it plugged into the wall I still get the little green light (sorry its an Acer laptop) which means that the battery is charging up.

Can I leave it plugged in, or should I disconnect from the mains altogher. Worried I might fry the laptop battery.

Barmoor,

I leave mine plugged in the whole time - no problems even after several years.

One light probably means just that you are connected to the mains - yellow if charging, green if fully charged.

Regards,

Felix
