Hi, I have a toshiba laptop and when it starts up the toshiba logo is loaded first. recently it has appeared, but in a lower resolution than before. How do I change the resolution of it back to 1280 x 800? seems to be on 800 x 600 or 1024 x768. thanks

Is the resolution of the computer correct when it finally boots up?

yeah the resolution is correct

If it doesn't affect the performance of the laptop, I would leave it alone.

I'd go with Methedrines advice, no idea why it should do this but if the laptop is working correctly then I would just leave it, you can get in a real mess sometimes trying to alter something that ends up affecting the main system.
