Hiya all.
Recently when i boot up my laptop the display is crap because the display driver has not been installed or is corrupt.
I reload the display driver and everything is fine, but when i switch off the laptop and then switch it on again the driver error occurs again and i have to once again re-load the driver.

HELP PLEASE ?

Hi, have you tried downloading/installing an updated driver from your graphics or laptop website?

If you run XP, Do you have a Full XP CD? put it in the comp, and at Run box type SFC /SCANNOW press enter

Don't have an xp cd,it was pre-installed on the laptop, only have a recovery cd which does put windows back onto my laptop.

Is that the same ?

If you have the os preinstalled, sfc should run fine.

Understanding sfc click here

Start/run and type sfc /scannow (note the space /)
