laptop problem

My laptop keeps crashing and says its dumping my physical memory and that i should contact my system administrater. Whats wrong and how do i fix it? i'm a pentium 3 windows 2000/xp

Make sure any new hardware is installed correctly also make sure your memory is seated properly. If there is more than one stick installed, remove one and see if you get the same error, then try the other.

All this advice is from 'Googling' your problem. Some of the forums recommend reinstalling the OS.
