With a budget of £600 which way should i go in replacing my knackered old dell desktop?
Main use would be internet, email and dvd watching and burning.
Never had a laptop and like the idea but will i get a decent one for this sort of budget...and will I need lots of accessories?
Or should i stick with a desktop

Very confused, Any help much appreciated

Cheers

I agree with Fellsider. I bought one from Novatech a few weeks ago (didn't spend as much as you are anticipating, about 500) and am absolutely deighted with it.
Whether laptop or desktop depends mainly, I think, on whether you are happy to do your DVD watching on a 15.4" laptop screen or whether you want a bigger desktop monitor. My daughter watches DVDs on her laptop all the time without any complaints.
