Hi all,i have a desktop AMD 800mhz running windows xp pro and aol broadband,i'm thinking about buying a laptop for my wife so she can play the games she's like's on yahoo.she has a back problem and finds it difficult to sit at this machine.i want to network so she can share the internet connection."i know very little about networking"i have searched google but i find a lot of it a little over my head.the laptop i'll be getting is a 300mhz running win 98se.the desktop has a built in LAN will i just need a 10/100 network card to fit into the PCMCIA slot on the laptop and the cable to join the two. any advice in plain English would be appriciated.

On your XP computer go "Start" , "Help and support" type " Network" in the list will appear "Walkthrough: Home networking".

This is at your fingertips anytime you need help.
