Laptop Monitor

  Spr 08:54 16 Mar 06

My old Compaq Presario which I now have up and running the Monitor Screen looks as if it is playing a very old scratched film.

It is obvious that the drivers for the Graphic Card needs updating I have download the latest Drivers for the (Trident Video Accelerator Cyber Blade_i7) and install them
there is no change to the Screen

Any advice

I am using Window XP Home

Excuse my ignorance but how do you alter the graphic settings
I have altered the Properties Setting

Resolution set at 1280 x 1024 Colour Quality at 16 bit Monitor is good but loose Desktop

Resolution Set at 800 x 600 32bit Monitor is poor

Have a try at 1024 x 768 on both High Colour 16bit and True Color 32bit.
