Hi , i have a HP nx9020 notebook which comes with 256mb of ram , i want to add another memory stick in the spare slot (either another 256 or 12) I don't like the look of HP's own prices for the extra memory.
It's described as HP DRAM Memory (PA525A)
512 MB DDR-SDRAM Module (333 MHz)

My question is , Is this kind of ram available elsewhere or do i have to buy from HP ?
I have looked elsewhere but its confusing , i see SODDIM , PC2700 , 200 PIN , PC2100 , DDR .
I am at a loss to what all that means .

Also look at Kingston memory. They solved my problem for memory for my Toshiba laptop, when the Crucial "equivalent" would not work.
