laptop losing wireless when connecting webcam

Hi,
Whenever I connect a webcam (or anything else for that matter) to any of the 3 usb connections on my laptop I lose wireless capability. The only way to get it back is to disconnect whatever is connected and then restart.
I have a fujitsu siemens vista laptop, I assume there is an issue with the network adaptor, but thought I'd check on here before it goes back to staples.
cheers

It may not sound too obvious but update the sound driver as this may cause the problem with switching to webcam microphone. also worth updating the wireless card driver...

Thanks STREETWORK.
I looked in device manager and found 2 network adapters. WLAN was up to date, but the other (family fast ethernet NIC)had an update.
And that does seem to have cured it.
THANKS AGAIN
saved me a trip to staples tomorrow
