Can any one advise me can I use a laptop on the internet without a land line I shall be on a canal boat moving around fo about 6 months at a time.I would also like to watch tv on the lap top
any advice please

If you have dip pocket, you can get 3G internet service (broadband) from Vodaphone click here, £100 per months for 1GB traffic.

For watching TV, you need to get an external (usb)TV card, there are many to chose from, e.g. MSI VOX USB 2.0 TV Tuner £44.03 click here, but all TV cards rely on good signal, so you need to get a good aerial.

Your local caravan centre can supply you with many types of TV aerials to go with the above ideas
