Laptop Hard disc read failure error....

My laptop recently had a "blue screen" when booting - which repeated a few times. When it did start it was very slow - and with prolonged periods of accessing the hard disc. At first I thought I might have been a driver problem as that was the windows error reported and I had recently installed and then uninstalled a printer. A system restore back a week followed by a registery clean up (CCleaner) prevented further "blue screens" - and the laptop now starts "normally" but is generally much slower to start than before. I have now installed and run "smartmontools" - I've put in the test results in the next post - which seems to be showing some errors - but I'm not sure quite what it all means. Any advice would be appreciated on what to do next.

Thanks

Chris
