Laptop cannot "see" home wifi network

Unless we've done something without realising, our laptop can no longer "see" the home wifi network. It can see 2 others in the neighbourhood but not the home one!! We have up until recently not had a problem. Security on the wifi home network is WEP enabled.

Any advice gratefully received

Thanks guys

Perhaps your wireless router has the "Transmit SSID" turned off. click here

Thanks Taff

You were right!! Sorted! One other question though, in the security settings, although I have WEP enabled the box for 54g protection is unchecked - should I tick this?

Many thanks

I assume the WEP is enabled and that your network is therefore secure so everything is working as it should. If there is an option to change the 54g setting to Auto then choose that otherwise leave it alone. From what I can see this is a compatibility option for older wireless protocols and if everything is OK on your network leave it.
