laptop audio connection

having recently bought a laptop to replace my desktop, i'm confused as to how my existing audio set-up will still work.

i have a 2.1 speaker system on the desk in my bedroom that i would still like to use but obviously with having a laptop i wouldnt really want to be tied to the desk in order to listen music through good speakers

is there anyway i could connect wirelessly to these speakers so i could lie on the bed for example and still be able to make use of them?

and another thought,

would an audio sender interfere with my wireless router?
