Laptop Advice

I'm thinking of buying a new laptop as my current one is on its last legs. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I'm looking at spending less than £750 as I'm a student.

Specification:Processor- 2Ghz +
Hard Drive- 20Gb +
Memory- 256Mb +
Graphics- Possibly shared with RAM
OS- Windows XP Home or Prof.

If anyone has any ideas or recomendations please help!

PS. I have seen that NEC (click here) have some good deals has anyone got one of their models?

Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention that I will require CD-RW/DVD. And, possibly a floppy.

Big Elf,

Thanks for your response.

As I'm a student I'm looking for something below the weight of 3kg.

Anyone else got any recommendations?

Totally agree, Novatech have some nice light laptops.
