language change problem with Firefox/Google

  cassini1 14:37 17 Mar 14

I live in Spain and have an English version Windows 8.1. My keyboard is Spanish so I have to change the language every time I start up as it defaults to English. This is no problem. However, when I go into the Firefox browser and Google comes up I always get Google Spanish version. Clearly it reckons that as my ISP is Spanish I will want to work in Spanish, which is not really the case. I change the language to English via the setting controls but it does not save it as default. Is there a way to get Google to recognize my preference? Thanks.
