lan problems with aol in win xp

can anyone help me?
i have just created a home network running one ethernet card in the master and an on board ethernet port on the other
the network works fine but i cannot get the internet to work on the secondary device
aol is running on the master but no previous internet browser was set up on the secondary device , ive tried installing aol on the second device but to no avail
win xp home is on the master and win xp pro on the secondary device.
my master connection shows that the internet is not bieng shared !
does anyone know the answer?

go to CONTROL PANEL > NETWORK CONNECTIONS > select AOL connection and right click and select properties. Go to the advanced tab and check all the boxes you see (they should say share internet connection,etc). Click OK, disconnect connection and reconnect.
