Cannot get photos transfared from Kodak camera to kodak easy share software when try to transfare get the error message "the media is damaged or incompatible" Help please to fix this problem.

It sounds as if your memorycard is faulty, you could download and try this freeware image recovery software. click here

If your using XP, ditch the kodak software and use Xp's own.

I had a number of problems with the EasyShare software. Kodak sent me the latest version download but this didn't solve the problem.Eventually I moved to a card reader and used XP and everything was much simpler.

I think the problem is that I have easyshare version 3.3 and I installed ver.4. from Kodak but did not like, so removed easyshare from ADD REMOVE PROGRAMES.Reinstalled ver.3.3 from disk then problem starts( i think there is traces off ver.4 left over )
