Keyboard/Mouse For More Than One PC

My work requires using 4 PCs. As you can imagine space is limited on my desk. Is there anyway I connect say 1 Keyboard/Mouse to 2 PCs and switch between whichever PC I wanna use at that time, so instead of 4 keyboards and mice on my desk I only have 2?

Could you explain a little more and how they work please.

You plug your keyboard, mouse and monitor into the switch and connect the switch cables to each PC. you can then switch quickly and easily between PCs. I have an Aten switch for 2 PCs - there is a 4 port version of this click here so only 1 keyboard, mouse and monitor would be needed for all 4 PCs. Some switches will allow keyboard shortcuts to do the switching.

I tries a number of switches with my W7 and XP PCs but had a lot of problems until I tried the Aten.
