I have been given, as a birthday present, a Logitech cordless keyboard & mouse.
On computer start-up the cursor keys do not function(but work later when using in Word)
F8 key doesn't work at all.
I have re-installed the software to no avail.
The F8 key is not shown in the "ITouch" panel on configeration.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this
I need the cursor keys to move between WIN98 and XP.
Everything functioned correctly with my old keyboard.
Thank you for your time - Ian

Hiya
I had the cordless mouse and that was a pain and eventually went to mouse heaven. Apart from taking it back to the shop and exchangin it i'd try start menu> control panel> system> device managers > and remove the old mouse and keyboard, they could be conflicting, then reinstall the logitech drivers and have a look.
When i got my mouse it turned out first time that i needed to exchange it for one that worked.

Am I right in thinking that all this cordless stuff is controlled by a Windows program?

If that is so, there is no chance of it working until Windows and the associated controlling application has loaded and is functional.

Thank you for your help - I've tried everything except take it back to the shop
