Keyboard problem

Hi everyone, this should sound simple and i have looked through previous postings.
I have Belkin wireless keyboard, tried reinstaling drivers.
Checked language as English UK.
The @ key prints as" and vice versa.
Ok I can cope with that but the pound key shows this # ie hash, the hash key prints a backstroke so i cant print the pound symbol.
I use this for invoicing mainly so I need to sort it.

Any ideas please.

Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages tab, Details button, select United Kingdom keyboard and click OK.

Another quick way is to click on 'EN' in taskbar (near sys tray) then tick English(United Kingdom).
