Keyboard failed to initialise

  CloudRider 12:23 04 Aug 03

Hi All -
Anyone got a easy workaround for this please. I have a Win2K machine which was happily working, until I decided to update the basic keyboard and mouse drivers with Internet & Wheel mouse drivers. Now the PC boots to the GUI, but I have no keyb or mouse input and an error dialogue appears "Keyboard failed to initialise".
Attempted to boot to last know good config - no good, and a safeboot loads all the way through until mup.sys driver and then simply hangs. Can I get past this without reloading 2K?
Many thanks in advance.

Sorted now under my own steam, so to speak.
Using a very expensive Util, found that the I8042 Keyboard device had somehow become disabled. So just re-enabled it to start at 'System' boot, and all is s-well !
Happy man !
