Keyboard changes - foreign alpabets?

I sometimes have to e-mail people who use different alphabets (especially cyrillic and Greek).

Is there a way I can instruct by keyboard toi write the right letters for the appropriate language?

I tried messing about with Word, but it won't even let me print French accents, and since most of my correspondence is in French, this is bloody annoying, mes amis.

If you go to Start/All Progammes/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map, you will find all the characters you need.

There are also short cuts to these but I do not know them:-( Desolé.

Thanks, Sapins. Just what I needed to know.

What version of Word do you use? If Word 2002, go to Tools; Language. There is an option to translate from English to French and vice versa.
