Keyboard access to BIOS setup & Safe Mode.

Am I correct in thinking that I need to have a corded keyboard connected & not my usual Logitech wireless keyboard etc' to enter the BIOS setup or Safe Mode via keyboard shortcuts or is there another way of entering them

i still use a non usb keyboard, but i think you have to activate legacy keyboard in the bios to use usb keyboards in bios

Yes, I believe you are correct.

I use a Microsoft Elite wireless keyboard and mouse and have no problem accessing the bios on a Vista machine.

My Medion -Logitech wireless keyboardand mouse work ok in BIOS.

To use a wireless KB and Mice in BIOS you must have USB legacy for DOS Enabled

I agree with Fruit Bat /\0/\. Having a wireless keyboard is irrelevant. It's the USB connection that's important and it must be legacy-enabled in BIOS.

If your Keyboard came with computer BIOS should already be USB activated

If it will not go in, Use a PS/2 keyboard with a wire

Thanks for everybody for your help looks like I will have to revert to my old PS2 keyboard to set it up etc'
