While AVG antivirus was doing its scheduled scan the following appeared in the progress box,

File Result/infections Path
Kernal32.dll Change C:\windows
The complete scan showed "nothing found" Can anyone tell me what this means please. My OS is XPhome sp2. Everything appears to be working ok. Thanks. I have also run AVG antispyware scan and that shows nothing found.

It's Ok.Just letting you know that it has been up-dated,If I remember right you can open Avg Test centre,Press F3 and accept changes.I think thats how you do it,And it will not show on future scans.

buteman, strange that you should say that about MS updates because I had some auto updates a couple of days ago.
