Kaspersky Internet Security keeps telling me that C:\windows\system32\kbfiltr.sys is a keylogger and is dangerous. I'm not sure that this is true, because it is a windows driver, but I don't really know. I've added it to the allow list, for now.

What should I do?

on xp it's the keyboard driver click here submit the file to kaspersky so they can check it.
run click here in safe mode see if it brings anything up.

my mistake, it's a driver from dritec click here
spyware terminater and adaware have elements nod pulls up as keyloggers and even a screen reader!
i would still submit the file to them

How do you submit the file to Kaspersky?

The Dritec file should be in this folder
C:\Windows\System32\drivers
So I would have it submitted too. You might be better having it submitted here

or here

Thanks, Mac70. Those sites found no viruses, but I've posted s topic in the Kaspersky forum and they said it was just a driver, but send it to Kaspersky, in case - which I did. Waiting for a reply.
