Do i need specific software to play karaoke dics on my pc. I use xp pro i have cyberlink power dvd, windows media player, quick time, realtime help please

I think you do need special software to play these on your computer,what it is I dont know. This has been brought up before on the forum and there are many others like myself who cannot find the answer to this problem. Regards.

Karaoke discs work fine on my PC using WMP10 and all the other versions which enable me to choose Audio Track.

Does WMP10 allow you to see the vocals on screen as per karaoke cd's do??

What sort of Karaoke discs are you using? I've got DVD and VCD ones. The text is just in the video and is highlighted as the audio track plays.
