i have a partioned drive with my operating system on it i do not have any discs if i use jv16 powertools will it affect my partition as i have no other way to format should anything go wrong it a ph win xp thanks leo

If your going to have a tinker make sure that you at least have system restore enabled (or take an image of the disk)so that you can recover things if things go wrong.

I made a mess of my system by over enthusiatically using this utility but fortunately I was able to recover things using a previously stored Drive Image.

I tend to leave my registry dablings now to running one button checkup using Norton Utilities 2003.
