Since upgrading to Windows XP (Home Edition) from Windows ME, my monitor has developed a slight sideways and upwards judder. Any ideas how to cure.

have you placed any new objects near it since upgrading i.e. a set of speakers? something that requires power........?

I had a similar problem and found it was an anglepoise light the I had on the desk. When the light is switched off the screen returns to normal. like kentylad says are there any new objects near the computer?.

Cheers Lixdexik.

I suppose you could hit the degauss button and see whether kills or cures the problem

Check the Refresh Rate in Display Properties.

Increase it to a higher rate and observe the results.

Problem solved - the Refresh Rate increase cured the problem. Many thanks for all reponses.
