Too late to try anything else tonight. Try tomorrow.

Hi Benson.Your best bet is to go to the Malware Forum you will have to sign in as a new member ,Download HJT from the forum and post it to the required place and wait for someone to help.It could take a while so be patient,Any nasties on your computer. They will get rid of them all.click here

Have you tried your add remove programs to see if it is in there.Or run and type msconfig,Start up.and see if it is in there ,If so untick it,Apply ok.Now as far as I could make out they take so much a month out of your bank account so the sooner you get it fixed the better,Googled something to look at until you get some help.click here=

This one fixed by AVG.click here

If Avg detects it ,It should either be in the Quarantine box or will be deleted as long as you picked any of those things to do.If in the Quarantine box.It is quite safe to go in there and delete them.Once you have done that re-boot your computer and run Avg again just to see if it picks them up again.I would also run C Cleaner if you have it installed.

Run ATF-Cleaner, when it's finished, run AVG again, if it's gone, turn off System Restore to delete any possibly infected restore points. Reboot your computer and restart System Restore to create a new, clean restore point. Run AVG again to confirm deletion.

Thanks buteman. It seems that "smitfraud" has obliterated the blighter! It seems the recipe is to run these cleaning utilities in "safe mode". Didn't even know how to get into "safe mode" before using this forum!
Had a fair bit of cleaning up to do though, after installing other cleaning programs.
It appears that it wasn't a threat after all. Javascript! (your second communication) Wonder why AVG found it, but couldn't do anything with it?
Thanks, Everyone.
