JPEG Viewer - is that what I need to view ...

I have made a picture CD using my PC CD burner. It
will playback on my DVD/CD drive but not on my
JVC DVD player. The same situation occurs with
Kodak and Boots Picture CDs.

In all 3 cases if I buy a DVD player with, as the
brochures say, 'a picture viewer' or 'JPEG viewer' will this resolve the problem.

I want to be able to view my photos on a tv via a DVD player so all the family can see. I hope this makes sense to your knowledgeable readers.

I would be most grateful to them for help. Thank you.

You have to buy a DVD player that is able to playback JPG's. I've recently bought one that will also play MP3's as well as video's.

It should be what you need - I have given CDs of images to various people which DVD players of various expense and all seem able to watch them.
