The picture files in my hard drive have changed from JPEG to IMA files so windows (xp) will no longer open them. I,ve tried the troubleshooter but that has nt helped any ideas please!!

As an experiment, try changing the file extension on just one of the files from .ima back to .jpg. Then see if you can open it. If so, then at least you know you have one way (albeit a tedious one) out of the problem.

If you're not sure how to do this, right-click on the file name, then in the menu left-click on Rename. Just type any new name for the file, ensuring that it ends in .jpg.

If the experiment doesn't work, change the file suffix back to .ima, and hope that VoG™ has a solution for you (he's much more likely to than me).
