I am trying to install HP 5610 All-in-one printer. I have tried HP but they don’t seem able to help

On start up it go's to "Document Viewer Please Wait while Windows Configure
Gathering Required Information" them the message

Microsoft.NET Framework
"An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt
continue. I then have to Ctrl+ALT+ Del to end program.

At the end of the information is the message below I have done a find but cannot find this file anywhere

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

configuration>
system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
/configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Not totally sure this update will solve your issue, but if your running netFramework 1.1 (check in Add and remove programs) try updating to version 2.0

There is version 3 availble, but its highly unlikely to affect you at this time.
