javascript - Problems with IE6

I'm running IE6 on Windows XP... but I am having a problem with javascript.

A while back I was having a problem with javascript buttons because clicking on them had no effect, then I some how unknowingly repaired the problem. Now the problem has returned and it means that I am having problems navigating on some internet sites or purchasing items from certain sites that I was able to before, because the javascript they use no-longer works. Script such as "javascript:open_popupcart" which is linked to a button nolonger does what it should.

I'm sure that maybe over time I may correct the problem again by accident, and still not know what I did... but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I need to do so I can solve this problem now and in the future?

Cheers VoG...

I went to that site and couldn't find anything that helped so I updated the software but to no avail... so I removed that software completely and suddenly everythings working fine... still don't understand what the problem was or why it suddenly happened but now it's solved so thanks again VoG...
