Java Update

  Billawa 13:02 25 Jun 10

I have downloaded an update from Java and at the end I have a message as follwos:-
"Windows has found a problem with this file jre1.6.0._20-C-1.msi It has been blocked as it doesn't have a valid digital signature that verifies the publisher"

Clicking OK the message disappears. The next time I boot up I am told there is a Java update available and the same thing happens again. Is there a solution to this impasse?

Thanks for any replies.

Have you tried clicking on Java in the control panel and then updating from there ? The current version should be (build 1.6.0_20-b02)

Or try using JavaRa click here

One click will check for the latest version, uninstall all previous, now redundant, versions and install the latest version and leave a you logfile of what it has done.

Thanks to both of you. I have now managed to install Java without a problem.
