Java problem with Mozilla browsers

Hi all

The code below works on I.E. and opera but not on Mozilla or Netscape

Has anybody got a work around?

a h r e f="#" onClick="history.go(-1)">Return To List /a>

The reason is i have a dynamically generated list, that goes to a page displaying further details. I cant link back to the list page because i don't know which list page it was. (I know i can post all the search criteria back and forwards but it would be better if the above worked!)

Thanks in advance.

Both the following have been tested in IE6, Netscape 7.0 and Mozilla 1.7.3.

<a h r e f="javascript:history.go(-1)">Go back</a>

or

<a h r e f="javascript:history.back(-1)">Go back</a>
